A fabulous Hector Aguilar Amethyst 14k gold bracelet that was custom made in the late
40's. This measures 7" long with a 6-3/4" inside circumference, it will fit a small wrist.There are 5 amethyst stones that measure 1-3/" x 1-1/7" each. The push in clasp slides in and holds tight and has a 3" 14k gold safety chain. Truly one of a kind bracelet by an amazing artist, marked on the clasp. I am listing this for one of the dealers in our shop (Olde Inverness Antiques) who purchased this from Miriam Schary in the late 1970's in NY. The story is; it was given to Miriam Schary, by Loretta Young, wife of Dore Schary, a respected film director, writer, producer, and playwright who had a long and varied Hollywood career but who is best known for being the man who replaced MGMs legendary head, Louis B. Mayer.
